A study visit within the scope of “Technical Assistance To Prepare Flood Risk Management Plan For Meriç-Ergene River Basin” Project, which is co-financed by the European Union and Türkiye within the scope of II. Period of the European Union Instrument for Pre-Accession Assistance (IPA) was held to exchange information on flood-related issues with various institutions in Finland, Sweden and Denmark and to examine the water structures and flood-related studies in these countries between 31 July - 07 August.
Within this context, Finnish Environment Institute (SYKE), Copenhagen Municipality and Denmark Hydrological Institute (DHI) were visited by the representatives of General Directorate for Water Management and FLOODMERG Technical Assistance Team. Also, Stockholm Royal Seaport and Slussen Lock projects of Stockholm Municipality were examined
