THE NINTH OPERATION COORDINATION UNIT MEETING OF TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE TO PREPARE FLOOD RISK MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR MERİÇ-ERGENE RIVER BASIN HELD

The 9th Operation Coordination Unit Meeting of “Technical Assistance To Prepare Flood Risk Management Plan For Meriç-Ergene River Basin” Project, which is co-financed by the European Union (IPA-2) and Republic of Türkiye, was held on 28 February 2023 as a hybrid meeting.
The representatives of Directorate General of Water Management and Ministry of Environment, Urbanisation and Climate Change, Delegation of the EU to Türkiye and the authorities of the contractor company attended the meeting chaired by Mr. Maruf ARAS, the Deputy Director General of Water Management.
The meeting started with the opening remarks of Mr. Maruf ARAS speaking on behalf of the End Recipient of the project, Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, General Directorate of Water Management (DGWM). After the opening speech, a brief evaluation was made on the issues that came up in the previous meeting.
