The Fourth Project Steering Committee Meeting Was Held

The Fourth Project Steering Committee Meeting was held on April 29 by the “Technical Assistance to Prepare Flood Risk Management Plan for Meriç-Ergene River Basin” project, financed by the European Union and the Republic of Türkiye within the scope of the Environment and Climate Action Sector Operational Programme (IPA-2). The hybrid meeting was held in Ankara with the participation of stakeholders from the basin region, attended by a total of 42 committee members.
During the Steering Committee Meeting chaired by Mr. Mustafa Dal, Head of Flood and Drought Management Department, a comprehensive technical presentation was delivered, addressing the project's purpose and ongoing activities. Following the presentation, a Q&A session was held to exchange ideas with the participants on the progress and outputs of the project, including upcoming study visits abroad, mapping studies and modeling outputs and the impact of these activities on the project course.
