Within the scope of Activity 2.1 of the “Technical Assistance to Prepare Flood Risk Management Plan for Meriç-Ergene River Basin” project co-financed by the European Union (IPA-2) and the Republic of Türkiye, a 4-day field visit was carried out between 15-18 May 2023.
During the visit, field works for the preparation of Flood Hazard Maps were carried out with the participation of the End Recipient and the Technical Assistance Team and surveying studies, which are the input of the hydraulic models to be prepared in the future stages of the project, were examined.
