Within the scope of Activity 2.1 of the “Technical Assistance to Prepare Flood Risk Management Plan for Meriç-Ergene River Basin” project co-financed by the European Union (IPA-2) and the Republic of Türkiye, a 3-day field visit was carried out between 17-19 January 2023.
During the visit, field studies for the preparation of Flood Hazard Maps and Risk Maps were carried out with the participation of the End Recipient, the Technical Assistance Team and a representative from the 11th Regional Directorate of DSI and data collection was carried out to be used in the further stages of the project.
